Phelps @ Prestonsburg 1/2/25
#2
Should be an interesting game as both teams are playing good right now, didn't think I'd be saying that about Pburg after the start they've had to the season.

Heard a lot of good things about Phelps, especially the Weddington kid, looking forward to seeing him play. Also interested to see how the inclusion of Rash goes for the Hornets, if he does indeed play tonight. I'm sure they'll want to get him some run tonight just to get familiar with the system they're running.

Hard to believe it's January and this is the first home game for the Blackcats. They've been on a nice streak recently, and according to other comments in other threads, Keathley is still getting his, but on a more consistent flow within the offense which is what you want if you're a Pburg fan. Obviously they'll want to defend home court, looking forward to seeing the Weddington/Napier matchup down low, should be a fun one to watch.

Not entirely familiar with Phelps, haven't seen them play but just basing off things I've heard/read on here, but they seem to have a good surrounding cast around Weddington.

Can Prestonsburg keep the momentum going? Can they keep playing consistent offense and not solely relying on Keathley, makes you wonder if it's a close game if he decides to try hero ball or it he'll play within the system. This one should be fun to watch.

With all that being said, I think Phelps goes on the road and pulls out a hard fought victory, but they'll have to earn it.
