New Year's Resolutions
#5
I agree,  losing weight is a great new years resolution.  That's one of mine every year.  It seems to be so much tougher now to lose weight.  When I was younger I couldn't gain weight no matter what I did.  When I was 18 I was 6ft tall and only weighed 140lbs.  For a month I drunk weight gainer, I believe that's what it was called.  Supposed to help you gain weight.  During this time I worked out both at home and the gym.  I weighed myself after a month.  I went from 140 to 130, I lost 10lbs instead of gaining anything lol

I could eat whatever I wanted and gain no weight back in the day.  Now days I can think about food and it's like the lbs just pour on! I can lose weight at times but it's like I can only lose so much,  then I'm stuck,  no matter what I do.

A few years back I was exercising daily and noticed I was losing weight.  I slowly began cutting out junk food and pop.  Started eating more fruit and vegetables.  I kept dropping lbs.  So I decided to become fully committed.  For a month I exercised every day and cut out all junk food.  I didn't weigh myself for that month.  Idk what it is with me for going a month without weighing myself! I was pumped up and expecting a huge weight loss.

I kept a chart of how much I'd lost.  After a month of eating right and exercising daily I got on the scales.  I was like this can't be right so I got on again! I'd only lost like 2 tenths of a pound,  since the last time I weighed myself a month ago! Not even a full pound! I was starved to death.  I ordered a 18 inch loaded supreme pizza plus a 10in pepperoni and a liter of Dr pepper.  Picked it up,  get home,  I eat every bit of it all in one sitting   Big Grin

Maybe this year can get over the hump on the weight I get stuck on.  Walking around the woods hunting,  helps.
