All I'll say about the game is that we got outplayed and outcoached, simple as that.
But back to the topic that's taken over this thread, food.
I am still young, albeit wise in my years, but luckily I grew up around a family who loves to eat, and had some of the best cooks in the history of this world, so red eye gravy & cat head biscuits where commonplace growing up, and the way I seen it done growing up, was you warm up some serp(or syrup for you city folk) and drown it on your gravy & biscuits, make sure to get an extra biscuit if you can, to sop it up! Still sop to this day, I'll never waste a bite or a drop, some of that probably attributes to the health issues I have now, but I wouldn't change a thing. My Nanaw was incredible, I'll never forget talking to my dad (and still bring it up today), I was about 8-9 years old and she fixed me and my cousin an Eggo waffle, even tho she just popped in the toaster for a few minutes, it tasted like she'd slaved over the oven and fixed it for 4 hours, she just had that magic touch.
Again, I am young, not teenager or have my first legal beer young, but I remember having to go get my own switches too, and it better be one that'll leave welts on you, if it wasn't good enough or have enough briars on it then they'd go find a better one for you. Some great times! Helped shape me into the person I am today which might sound weird, but I didn't turn out to be on the wrong side of the tracks if you know what I'm saying.
I was dreading coming in here and reading all the posts after this debacle of a game, but I'll have to say I enjoyed reading about all the food, red eye gravy. Took a great trip down memory lane.
