No, I talked to his daddy shortly before the football team departed for the western part of the state. He remained on the basketball roster until very recently, even after the football season ended. I haven't talked to anyone about it since football ended. As far as I knew, he was supposed to play but I guess he was persuaded to focus on the fall sport. You're a good reporter . I enjoy reading your stuff, especially about the 13th region. All good reporters are nosey, and you have that going for you, as well. I prefer the word, "curious," though. You are a curious sort. (Btw, I am, as well) And, for all good writers and reporters, that's a good thing.
