When the Reds last played in the World Series in 1990, the place I was working at the time had tickets for game six at Riverfront and I was going to get to go. Then the Reds upset the A’s in a four-game sweep! Talk about bittersweet.

I was at game 4 when the Reds completed the sweep. Rode through downtown Cincy on the hood of a Caddy after the game lol. Wild scene.
My top sporting event I saw in person was the 2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla in Louisville. I'm not normally fazed by famous people, but when I saw 2 Americans and 2 Europeans walking up the fairway in matching attire the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I got chills up my spine. Crowd was wild, especially the Europeans.
I don't expect to pay the obscene prices for sporting events anymore. Didn't go to NYC this year the week before Christmas for the first time since 2011, good news is saved over $1000 on UK tickets for that fiasco yesterday lol.
Edit: it was the Reds closing out the Pirates in game 6 of the NLCS, not the World Series.

I started to say, you was tripping on some funny mushrooms, or sumpin', if you was at game 4 in Cincy.   LOL
