Pikeville may be the better defensive team but Martin is better offensively. Don’t see pikeville rolling over this team but could happen since it’s at pikeville. If Keene and onkst are hot then I’d take pikeville but you just never know how the watts kid plays.

Did anyone watch the Perry County Central game and come away impressed with Martin County’s offense? Or defense?

Haven't watched Pikeville play yet, but I have watched Martin a few times and I think Pikeville will have a little trouble with Martin's offense. They're extremely athletic and explosive, but if Pikeville can play good defense in the 1st qtr and keep Martin from getting hot early then they will probably win. Would love to travel to Pikeville to watch this one. Could be the 2 best teams in the region.

Again, did anyone watch Perry County vs Martin County? Did that Cardinal offense scare people? The same Perry County who lost to Belfry the night before and Belfry just lost to Jenkins this week. I fully expect Martin to get it together but anyone who has watched them play so far can’t be impressed. They haven’t played well.

You quoted me, so I’m duty bound to say “I told you so”. Martin Co played good defense, came out hot and outplayed Pikeville at Pikeville. Pikeville had no answer for Watts or the overall physicality of Martin Co.
