They are big enough to be a problem for people in the mountains, they shoot well, have two very really good point guards and tons of ball handlers, the winningest coach in 14th Region history on the sidelines... they are poised to win it all.

On a regular old night, Hazard is 15 points better than anyone in the region. On a good night they'll blow you out. On a bad night you still lose.

I’m a big fan of this Hazard squad , and I think Big Al is the man. However , I have to disagree with the claim that Hazard has been the best team the last 2 seasons. Let’s not forget what Breathitt accomplished in 2023. They basically won region without having a coach the entire season. To me , that speaks volumes about just how talented that team was.

If you ask Al today , he will tell you Breathitt was the best team in the region last season. Breathitt beat them in the All A & in the Regional tournament. So , I don’t see how you call them beating Hazard an upset lol.

As sports fans. Do we truly call it like we see it or do we just pick our team no matter what ?
