I hope that Breathitt record book has an asterisk showing 5 seasons instead of 4 like the rest in the book.

I probably should have clarified better on my statement as it’s taken off. Mine was more generated towards the football record being broken. I know you only get 4 years in football usually except for the kids that used the Covid year.

Basketball yes u can play in middle school if ur good enough or numbers are low. Basketball scoring record didn’t surprise me. But what and how much was it?

It definitely changes things for football players, but Sperry earned his numbers without even playing a full four years of football.

He missed four games in 2024, six in 2023, in 2020 Breathitt only played 5 regular season games because of COVID cancellations.
A lot of that's on him because of opting out of playing, but I think once you look at his body of work he stands at the top because he's the best WR from Breathitt and not because of the COVID year.

He definitely has a good body of work. I like stats, I’d just like to compare his total number of games to Courtney Johnsons to see who played more games and how many more.
