I hope that Breathitt record book has an asterisk showing 5 seasons instead of 4 like the rest in the book.

And No on the asterisk beside it. There is many kids that has played 5 or 6 years. You can play varsity basketball in 7th if you are good enough. That argument is irrelevant.

There is big difference between playing as7th grader, and playing your senior year twice. So yes there should be a BIG asterisk, I would think in most people mind he shouldn’t be even on the list. JMO

lmao I know y'all are never going to allow yourself to understand it, but you can't say he did his senior year twice because...

A.) He technically repeated his 9th grade year
and
B.) If he would have held back earlier he would the 8th grade year (where he scored 16 points) would have been his 7th grade year and he would have still been eligible to play and score those points.


I think the COVID year was a terrible idea and it was the legislature and KHSAA creating problems instead of solutions.
The baseball kids who didn't get to play their senior year it was a problem for them and for the boys and girls teams who didn't get to play basketball at Rupp.
Also for the esports kids who they shut down the season for even though they could have continued to play it remotely (still salty about that).

But the bottom line is it didn't create some magical year where 20 year olds can play with high school kids.
