The 13th region is the closest thing to modern day college sports than anything else. KHSAA has zero control, NIL deals, transfers mid season with eligibility, a coach scandal every year, referees who coach at high schools in other sports or uncles/related to players. I’m telling you there’s more drama in this region then anywhere else and it’s all pretty much deserving. We deserve a documentary on some of this.

Does Mike Philpot's son still referee games?  I always looked forward to Mike calling Corbin games. Mike called it fair and square.

Yes he does and is actually one of the better officials in the 13th.
