Don’t act like Boyd doesn’t recruit either.  They got a player this year,  did he  have Boyd connections or just fit an open spot?

If a school tells you they don’t recruit, they lied to your face.  Every school, every coach has knowledge and, does the same thing.  With summer ball more and more common kids recruit kids plain and simple.  Some just have more to offer based on where your program stands.
