I did see someone say Pburg could play with Pikeville. I’m not sure who it was that said that though. If they were being serious, that’s one of the more ridiculous things i’ve heard on BGR.

I said it, and I stand by it. I believe if both teams were playing each other in the 3rd round of the playoffs, Prestonsburg would have competed. Do I think they would have won, no I don't, but I think we play within around three scores. Pikeville wasn't the same team as they were earlier in the year. They had multiple injuries and Anthony was overworked and wore down by the end of the year. Pikeville wasn't any better than Somerset by the end of the year, in my opinion and Prestonsburg held their own with the Briar jumpers. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but the Breathitt game humbled these boys and they started playing with a chip on their shoulder after the trip to Jackson. Pikeville's schedule was too much for them this year, and the wear and tear showed by the end of the year. If Prestonsburg would have played Pikeville early in the year, I could see a running clock, but as I said earlier, the Panthers weren't the same team by November.

I agree and that's why y'all should drop Breathitt and play East Ridge week 11.
