So he will run the exact same formation 10 straight times and the most dynamic or change of pace play call is a play action pass (at max 5 times a game) or sometimes a counter trap. Other under center teams rely on misdirections, triple options, super counters, and even MULTIPLE FORMATIONS!!! Look at what union county did all year.(12-06-2024, 02:33 AM)Khalisimo Wrote: this is a team im watchin closely what do we see in 2025 for dudley hilton and the bobcats

There’s no power I teams in state this year, and probably wont ever be again. If there was a change in philosophy this roster could get them to kroger and maybe win it. With Mr. 51, they will get beat by a private school and then complain about how the other team has 4 guys who can throw it 100 yards and they get to ride charter buses, or whatever other dumb excuse his old mind can come up.....You obviously was not at Kroger field this weekend. There was multiple teams there that basically was in the straight T, power I, offset I, I left and I right etc every play. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but I think the I, Bone and Wing is making a strong comeback in high school football around the country. Everyone can NOT spread the field with WR's to run a Spread Offensive game plan. When they try they find that wall quicker then if they were running the wing T, flex-bone, wishbone. Conversation for another time but the two back set is alive and well in our state.
They will go undefeated in the regular season with a baby schedule, lose 4th round unless drastic changes are made.

I watched all 13 games this season, and with a QB who was an all state athlete the year before, a 6’6 receiver and a 6’3 receiver (both all district), 2 super senior tight ends/H backs (maybe the most dynamic players on the roster than can do anything), and a district player of the year at running back line up in the same formation and run the same plays all the way into the ground. They had to go to the spread, and i mean HAD TO GO, 4 times. North laurel they scored 2 touchdowns in 6 minutes to finish the game when down 24-8 and then lose on a 2pt conversion play out of bone. Boyd they were down 2 scores in minutes, spread it out and come back to win. Rock they went to it sporadically from the second quarter on, and had over a 1/5 of the yardage Rock gave up all season (over 400 yds). Had three redzone turnovers in the first half or it’s 35-3. And then Lex Cath. They played the spread one single drive, and even then, just 5 plays. In those 5 plays, they got 3 first downs. They didn’t get that many first downs period. Now i can give 25 plus statistics that prove that this team and this roster required a spread offense, or better yet, 2 receiver sets at least. 13 personnel without an option system is elementary and requires that you completely dominate your opponent. Think about how good Bell County’s roster truly is and has been in the past when the play book is a handful of plays, and their is no audibles, option, or really anything that allows the players show their athleticism.
