I’d say if they don’t give it to hoskins FC will never have a chance. They’ve got talent just not the right coach don’t get me wrong hager was an awesome coach but the players would not play for him I heard rumors about it and I heard wmdj say it. Bringing in a young guy like Hoskins might be what they need get someone they like and will play for. He could make freshman Ketrin Mays a great QB. Wesley buck isn’t leaving Floyd central he loves his basketball team he’s a basketball player and won’t move to Pbrug or Pikeville. They need to sign someone and get those young men in the weight room soon. If hoskins gets it you have to keep JR Bryant on the coaching staff he is Floyd central wrestling’s coach and played Dline in college and the X League I believe is what it’s called I might would even let him run the defense.

Pump the brakes there Truth.. wasn't JR on the staff this season? what did he coach? Prestonsburg also has 10+ kids out for wrestling also!! Last season they had to combine with FC due to lack of kids. I don't know JR personally but I know enough about him to know how the kids felt about him!!

JR was the DC for Brewer at Pburg in the first 3-4 years and then demoted. He then joined his wife on top of the press box filming and doing stats.  

Josh Stepp is the wrestling coach at Prestonsburg now. Google him.

Yes i was saying he was on the staff this season at FC, i knew he left Pburg after 2023 season. Josh Stepp is a phenomenal coach and ive heard there practices have been awesome thus far!!

Yes you are correct.  JR helped with the Dline at FC this past year I do believe.  

will transform that wrestling program and I’m sure that will entice surrounding kids to want to wrestle for him and that will be a goldmine for Wes.

Did not see JR on the sideline for FC during the Prestonsburg game. And Josh will have a much bigger impact on a wrestling team than JR did but that’s just my personal opinion!!!
