If you think for a second that Haddix would prefer this award over winning it all then you are also very delusional. Getting on a forum to bash coaches (there are 4 that didn't win a title) who worked their butts off teaching young men the greatest game on the planet is also ludicrous. There is a simple solution since you all know so much about coaching the game of football get yourself a team and I am certain anyone on that list above will schedule you gladly. I know without a doubt the 4A coach will!

Who even stated that?  Haddix may be the best coach in the state, but the fact remains, his Boyle Co team was heavily favored to win the state championship, and they didn't even make it to the semifinals.  I am not bashing him, but facts are facts.
I was stating fact never said anyone said that if I had I would have quoted them. So if winning a title is the criteria or being favored is the criteria then why are there 4 that didn't win a title listed? Also favored by who? Just curious who made the odds for BC to win it all as I am sure you are referring to the talking heads in these forums which again have proven more often than not that they have no clue what they are talking about. Like I said before get yourself a team and play him I know he will schedule you!

WTF are you blabbing about? No one has bashed any coaches. No one said these guys couldn’t coach.
Definition of bashing is severe criticism. By definition saying someone doesn't deserve an award because a bunch of people determined before the season started that they ''should" win their class would be definition be bashing someone. It not about one game its about an entire season and while some teams may have had better season it does not mean that a coach wasnt the best in the state. Which would explain why 4 of the 6 winners are not state champions. Nobody on here focused on any of the other three coaches they we straight at Haddix which is stupid.
