Excellent analysis as always CJ, and almost entirely on the money. Do you think SMU will hang on to a spot and knock Alabama out if they lose to Clemson in the ACC championship game? I think they should but I’m not entirely convinced.

Just seeing this and I hope not but worried that the combo of Georgia winning the SEC and Clemson narrowly beating SMU might be enough. Alabama's saving grace is that the committee already seems to favor them and they've beaten Georgia, so hopefully that's enough to justify their ranking.

To me, the worst team actually getting into the field is Indiana. Know they're well coached but think they're the matchup anyone would most want.
