Sayre was better than most gave them credit for including me. Congratulations to them. I already see a lot of outcoached posts and Pennington is excellent on offense and will outcoach a lot of folks on that side and they tackle fairly well despite being undersized on defense. I am glad the missed pass interference didn't change the outcome. Sayre beat the 3 favorites to win class A.  Pikeville, Campbellsville, and Raceland.  They earned it. Those 3 will be hyped preseason next year as well.  Sayre loses a lot of playmakers but keeps their lines mostly intact I think so if they have some upcoming talent or some transfers, they could be a factor again if Pennington stays there.  His youngest son takes the reins at QB next season.

With Sayre winning 1A this year this only helps with the transfers and they will probably reload big time.Sayre could be the future team in 1A
