I did not watch the game live but rewatched the replay posted from Youtube so it was hard to see the right angle on every flag. But Bull and Glory are spot on. There was definitely a lot of penalties called, and you could argue it may have been even excessive by effecting the flow of the game. However, on rewatch almost every call on Corbin looks spot on except for potentially the two-pass interference calls which were more 50/50. The problem is neither of those flags resulted in any points for Paducah and Corbin lost by 17. They got beat by a good team. They had their chances but didn't make the correct adjustments. The first half they seemed to move the ball pretty well, but PT started sending more and more pressure. For some reason Corbin kind of went away from the screens, swing passes, shallow crosses, and QB runs that worked so well in the 1st half. They were asking Kade Elam to make incredibly difficult plays on every snap. Several plays he was a magician back there avoiding the rush and pulled several rabbits out of the hat, but it wasn't enough.

Now only a few posters has even said anything about this game that are from Corbin. Most have not said a word. So I do want to say, don't let a few speak for the majority. Corbin is a football town. They back their team and not a finer place to go watch a game on a Friday night locally. Lots of great people in Corbin who are just good down to earth fans. So always keep in mind one opinion is just that, just 1 person. Not everyone. I know the boys in red put in hard work just like the other top teams in 4A and I would most definitely love to see them get a title. Salmons has came in and made an immediate impact and Corbin has alot of youth coming up at a good time. I do want to give Tilghman there credit because the game itself like I said was a very good ball game. Tilghman was as good as advertised. I would like to have seen Tilghman and Boyle play. But take nothing away from the game this weekend. Should be a dandy as both teams will get to make their case for the best in 4A. Couple of days to go.

Bull, I couldn't agree more with this message. I would hope a lot more fans and BGR posters would remember this. You can find bad apples in every community, school system, and fan base but you don't judge the entire group based on a few. I have never and will never judge all Corbin fans based on the antics of some posters because I know there are some great people in Corbin. I know their fan base is a fan base that loves their school and their teams. In the same way I would hope that people wouldn't judge my school (JCHS) based on the actions of a few bad fans or based on the constant posts by Old School putting us down Lol. The vast majority of people within Johnson County Schools are people that love their kids, their sports teams, and their community. And I know that our coaches have tremendous respect for our rivals around the state like Ashland, Cov Cath, Franklin Co, Boyle Co, and yes even Corbin. Do we want to desperately beat those teams of course but you should have respect for strong opponents and tip your cap when they beat you. 

In the heat of the moment everybody wants their team to win and sometimes we take things too far because of that.
