Pikeville and Raceland earned their position to be talked about all year. Same as Boyle. Sayre wasn’t deemed serious until they beat Pikeville. If you didn’t think the championship was gonna be Pikeville vs Raceland, your opinion wasn’t taken seriously (for good reason). Sometimes the giants are meant to fall. I think the common top dogs in RPI (Cville, KCD, Sayre) would lose almost every game if they played a Pikeville or Raceland type of schedule.

I would like to add this to your comment.  You said earlier in the season you wouldn’t be taken seriously if you said anyone but Raceland and Pikeville would be in the finals.  Back in October you really wouldn’t have been taken seriously if you said Raceland would be the one to make to the finals instead of Pikeville.  Sayre proved a lot of naysayers (myself included) wrong this season and I am expecting this to be a very good championship game.
