You nailed it. I still want Congress to hold Joe accountable. I want to see him attempt to pardon himself. There is an exception to the pardon power in the case of impeachment. He could not pardon himself to avoid an impeachment trial.

There are hundreds of political prisoners still behind bars for no other reason than they supported Trump and may have trespassed. Trump owes it to them to see that they are released as soon as possible. Pressure can be applied to have them released without delay.

Trump hasn't taken office yet. Now is the time to get those prisoners free. There are 435 House members. A subpoena can be issued without derailing Trump's agenda. Trump does not even need to be involved directly.

Allowing treason to go not only unpunished, but also undocumented would set a very bad precedent. Trump would also be setting a very bad precedent by allowing his innocent supporters to remain behind bars as he refuses to lift a finger to free them.
