First of all, we're not the 4th best team in America. We lost our identity with that premature ranking. We should be the team with something to prove. Clemson was 7-1 coming in, unranked, disrespected, with a chip on their shoulder and a ravenous crowd in a relatively small arena with a student section behind the benches. Our young men were not prepared for that level of intensity...welcome to Kentucky. We beat Duke and all of the sudden we went from David to Goliath. Our expectations went from we'll be good in a few years to we have arrived. That took away our edge, we simply got outworked and outmuscled by a team that assumed the identity that we needed to embrace. This got in our heads and when that happens the shots stop falling and the crowd gets louder and the opposing team gains confidence. This is a "teachable moment" and we have a coach that will take full advantage of it. We'll be alright...
