Pikeville went into the Sayre game thinking the weather was going to help them out. Wouldn’t overlook Sayre by any means. They look to be the best team in Class A.
The Rams won’t be overlooking anyone.Nothing I stated suggested that.Tye weather did help out Pikeville cause Sayer only scored one offensive touchdown but was able to capitalize on a kickoff return and other mistakes from Pikeville. If the Rams don’t score 21 points they don’t have a chance….its gonna be a tough game to win

Tough is an understatement. Give me the Spartans (who are much better coached) to win at Kroger in a Pennington Wonderland. Sayre gets a ring under their tree this year!
I’m as homegrown as they get. I’ve been around racelands football program for a LONG time and i know first hand just the amount of work these coaches put in. i would take out coaching staff a thousand times again. the tough games they schedule build character in many ways and is ultimately the reason they are a lot more prepared for this game than the spartans are. sayre hadn’t faced a challenge until round 3 of the playoff where they played an extremely unhealthy pikeville team. I personally think the rams put a running clock on pikeville if they played that game. the preparation goes back to playing powerhouse football programs like LCA and highlands and if you remember the rams were in a dogfight with the bluebirds until the second half. I think strength of schedule and coaching hands raceland the golden trophy this friday.

Obviously, CitySlicker hasn’t heard of #28 Landon Bloss
he’ll know exactly who he is this friday and so will the sayre spartans. Bloss is a grown man out there.

Ram nation will come loud this friday. sayre has an 8 minute trip and i still see racelands fans packing the stands more than the spartan fans.

It seems you’re forgetting about rams sophomore running back landon bloss. bloss completely runs behind his pads and is a great blocker. let’s not forget about his linebacker play. bloss absolutely dominates the defensive side of the ball! patrick bloss (landon’s father) was an absolute menace to society when he played. pat definitely didn’t care to get his nose dirty!
to add to that let’s not forget about rams  junior #2 shannon marushi. marushi is a versatile who leads the team in rushing touchdowns this season. i definitely look to marushi to cause chaos to the sayre defense and make them like it
