The holdings were plain as day. But not on the players. You have 7 guys coming at you and you only got 5 dudes blocking, the natural inclination is not get your QB killed. If you noticed the majority of the holdings were in the second half. Also, sideline warnings are 100 percent decided by one sideline judge. Trust me Bell county got 2 in 2 plays last week. Now they are crushing especially on offense going from 1st and 10 to 2nd and 25.

The outcome would have changed if corbin could scheme against an all out blitz. One there would be less holdings, 2 the receivers for corbin can win 1 v 1 matchups over the middle. I think cima and pietroski should’ve had 5 more targets each over the middle.

Refs didn’t help corbin but neither did the guys on the sideline. I think the 5 yd facemasks were a little ridiculous if i say so myself. Was there ever a 15 yd face mask?? Dumbest rule in football that is completely on the refs discretion. NFHS should really take out any single penalty that comes down to one man’s discretion.

More good work, gridiron. I talked to one very respected football guy, who thought it was the worst flag fest he had ever seen. So many completely unnecessary penalties. Like I said, Corbin should have left the stadium with 5:00 remaining.

Corbin fans chasing refs should have been left alone by cops. Cops should have arrested the refs for grand larceny. No way that game gets called that way at Campbell Field. Corbin wins that game in the friendly confines on the banks of Lynn Camp Creek.
