Tomorrow is opening day for Kentucky High School Basketball and this is one of if not the most exciting game on opening night.The Top two players in the state will be on the court (Zander Carter, Malachi Moreno). Zander Carter of Ashland is a very very good offensive player probably the best in the state, who can guard the other teams best player and limit them. Malachi Moreno is one of the best Centers in the Nation and is a force to be reckon with in the paint on defense and offense. Both Teams play quick and are very fun to watch, What’s everyone’s thoughts on this game?

Jennings guards the best offensive player and always has. Not saying Carter hasn’t but 98% of the time it’s Jennings. APB style is grinding it out. If Jennings doesn’t play tomorrow. This game won’t be close 20+ pts difference at minimum. Billy trying to hype this blowout game up. Carter is going to have to put up some better numbers before anyone believes this. He is a good player. Best guards don’t shoot 68% ft sub 38% three.  IMO
He does a lot of things good for a guard. Rebounds well and a capable defender for sure.

Great Crossing is overrated and they always have been. Jennings won’t be there it seems so yes Carter will guard there best player. Great Crossing only won by THREE against Boyd County. You can’t even say some dumb shit like Boyd is better than Ashland. Ashland is better than Boyd by a long shot and they barely lost to Great Crossing. If you don’t think he’s the best guard in the state that’s ridiculous. Ranked 2nd best player in the state on everything, Behind Moreno. There’s a reason Power 5s are wanting him.
