Trinity (12-2) will take on Ryle (12-2) for the 6A state championship game on Saturday, December 7th at 4:00pm. Trinity will be going for the 3rd straight title and #29 overall. Ryle is the team that has come out of know where to show that they belong in the title game and could win it. Ryle was 6-6 and 8-5 in the previous two seasons but this season they have put it all together and are playing their best ball of the season at the right time.

Ryle's 2 losses were to 5A power Cooper and St. X. The Raiders avenged the St. X loss by putting a running clock on St. X two weeks ago in the 2nd round of the state. They defeated another surprise team Great Crossing tonight 35-7. 

Trinity is Trinity what else needs to be said they were also 12-2 with only one loss in the state to St. X. They had a very good win in the semis tonight with a 17-0 win over Frederick Douglass in which their defense was awesome. 

This game will come down I think to which line can control the line of scrimmage and not turn the ball over. I am looking forward to watching this one.
