If the freshman from south point gets a lot of important minutes they might not be as good as advertised. 

He is a really nice player but not physically ready for teams that Ashland wants to be on same level as. Not a knock on him,  it many freshman are ready for that.      He will be a really good one,  but must get stronger.  Huge difference from Ohio Middle school to top tier varsity basketball. 

If Neal gets eligible (not sure that happens at Ashland ) Wonder how their point guard situation looks. Is it Davis? smith? Or just run everything through Carter and put shooters all around him?

I don’t think he’ll play much, or be a big factor, either. I’m just curious to see if he gets any meaningful varsity minutes, at all, outside of mop-up minutes. But, Ashland has had some FR contributors in recent years. I like this kid’s game though & think he’s gonna be a stud once he fills out. 

And, I agree that everything should run thru Carter. Davis will start at PG. He’s possibly the best athlete & defender on the team. And, his offense really came on toward the end of last season. But, that doesn’t mean that he’ll run the offense. It really won’t matter a whole lot with this team. Their top 6-7 can all handle & pass the ball, competently. They should be fun to watch.
