If the freshman from south point gets a lot of important minutes they might not be as good as advertised. 

He is a really nice player but not physically ready for teams that Ashland wants to be on same level as. Not a knock on him,  it many freshman are ready for that.      He will be a really good one,  but must get stronger.  Huge difference from Ohio Middle school to top tier varsity basketball. 

If Neal gets eligible (not sure that happens at Ashland ) Wonder how their point guard situation looks. Is it Davis? smith? Or just run everything through Carter and put shooters all around him?

I think they should just run everything through Carter and put shooters around him like you said. Very good passer that’s always willing to make the extra pass. He has so much offensive talent that it’s hard for any player in the state to guard him and if you give him any extra attention from a help defender he will make the right read and someone on Ashland will get a wide open 3. It would be very hard to game plan for this team. Run everything through Carter and let him create everything.  I can’t find anything on that kid from South Point, but I agree it’s hard for majority of freshman to play at the speed and physicality level that Ashland will need to win state.
