[Bull got out!]

As I was breaking down the film and just looking inside the game for myself, I can see that Covington Catholics QB is a elusive runner. I talk alot of football throughout the year with parents and just fans of the game. We talk about alot of teams and the question always gets asked to me, what do I think about some stuff. Well, I like simple offenses and to be good at them. I am not a fan of a team who gets blown out but can put 30 looks on a field and can run many sets but cant gain 1 yard unless they get lucky and catch the defense asleep. I like when a team comes out of the gate and shows the team identity immediately and says by playoffs, this is what we do, stop it. Belfry, Johnson Central comes to mind. Beechwood. They have unique offenses some years to where they don't change. Well, Covington Catholic kept it simple by the looks of it. But stopping it wasn't simple. To watch these lineman block and the runs is amazing and it being on Boyle County. Because unlike some who just want to step on the head while its down, to see 1 team get some success on that defense is unreal. But like Jack just said, you lose starters and you got 2 out of the game, you think it don't make a big difference. It sure does. But game planning in these playoffs is the difference in moving on and getting blown out. CC was on top of clock management. There is a reason Eddie Eviston has rings himself. He is a good coach. I think this game shows alot about what Covington Catholic did in the offseason, regrouped, and stayed focused. Stayed with a gameplan and executed. You also see in the film, what I call the stuff you cant see on stats and thats effort. Covington Catholic was playing hard. You can see it in the film. Now that is not a jab at Boyle, they was the little giant all year with the target on there back. They always play hard. But after watching what I have looked at so far, CC looks like they came to the fight and wasn't taking no for a outcome. Lots of stuff happened in this game. Injuries, Penalties, Turnovers was a huge part of this game. When you tally it all up. it was a dang good ballgame to watch honestly.  Harney, Cash 28 rushes for 234 yards and 3 for 4 Passing for 104 Yards 3 Touchdowns...
