If that’s the case before a big game like this, truly sad. Also why some players who were out or played hurt mattered so much. In addition to their physical talent, they seemed to care.

What happened with Pikeville this season?  All season we have heard that they lost their desire and didn’t act like they cared.  To me that just makes no sense at all.  It would be one thing if they weren’t winning games but this is a program that had won 4 out of the last 5 state titles.  I’m sure no one will know the real answer but I’m just curious about what lead to the implosion of a program that has been the gold standard in 1A football for nearly 10 years.
