So much disinformation, so little time. If Trump didn't have the votes, them he did the right thing by withdrawing the nomination and not wasting the Senate's time on a lost cause. As I said, Republicans have a deep bench. Josh Hawley, John Kennedy, or Ted Cruz would all do a great job as AG, and none of them will face any opposition from Republicans in the Senate.

Wouldn't it had been smarter to think of that before picking him?
