Mercer beat CAL in 2019/2020 in the regular season to then get beat later in the year in the playoffs. The next 3 years after that CAL won in blowouts and they haven't played each other since 2022. CAL is a heavy favorite this time around. In order for Mercer to have a chance they will need to be able to slow down Hodge for CAL. They are pass heavy and he is their leading rusher also. Expect to see Mercer give a heavy dose of Braiden Baughmen on the ground to see if CAL can stop it.
