That would be a big loss for the rebels. He does a great job with that program. They just won their jv conference as well.

Running an offense that is similar to Haddix's would also help with getting kids out and bring exciting times to the mountains. The more I think about it, the more I think it would be a homerun hire.
After seeing this name pop up I called some of my contacts at BC and have confirmed that Matt Bottom does not have any relatives or interest in Floyd Central. The comment was made that he is a true Rebel for life.

I talked to Matthew this morning after I saw this. He said he's not been approached yet, but if he was it was something he for sure would have to think about.
While you did in fact talk to him this morning and yesterday morning the Floyd Central job was never part of that conversation. I spoke with him this morning as well and he is in the 100% not leaving Boyle County camp. I have heard that PC head coach Travis Burns may be looking at going further east once his season at PC ends. The rumor is that he really wants to coach at a mountain school and PC just isn't exactly that for him.
