Only other team that can say that is Raceland. Ashland, LCC, LCA, Highlands, Pikeville, Hazard, NCC, and Paris all play again in round 2. I expect Paris and LCC to lose this week. But the rest should be playing in the regional round next week. All this goes back to the same old same old. That Raceland and Pikeville schedule for preparation and to get better while everyone else that are “contenders” schedule wins. Raceland was the same way back in the day. Even though everyone on the schedule was a bigger class for the most part. Usually, Ashland and at the time Russell were the only teams that really competed. Until the other top 1A teams start scheduling out of their comfort zone a little, the only teams I see knocking Pikeville or Raceland off are Pikeville or Raceland. Hazard has a lot of talent coming up, but they still have a ways to go.

Pound for pound there’s not a lot of other schools 1-3A that schedule like the Rams and Panthers do.
