The offense was hampered by penalties all night.  Have to clean that up.

There were 2 penalties called on a Corbin possession and I' must not understand the rules or the officials totally messed it up.  Corbin had it 1st and ten and were called for holding on the play and pulaski was flagged for a personal foul after the play.  They marked off the penalties and then gave Corbin a loss of down making it 2nd and 5.  Corbin's staff argued the call eventually getting another 5 yard penalty for a sideline infraction.  What's the correct call?

If it was the way you described it, no, that’s not all the way correct. Having a live ball foul followed by a dead ball foul means both are enforced and in order. 10 yards, then 15 yards would make it 5 yards to the line to gain. Losing a down is incorrect. It should have been 1st and 5. If the officials called a sideline warning, that’s all it is - a warning. UNLESS, they had called one previously. The second sideline warning is a 5 yard penalty. In this case, that 5 yards would result in a first down.

My apologies, I got the teams backwards in the first message. The 5 yard sideline warning against Corbin would make it 1st and 10 at the previous spot, not a new set of downs. Should have gone like this:

1st down, live ball holding on Corbin. Makes it 1st and 20
Dead ball personal foul on PC. That moves the ball up 15, making it first and 5. 
If this was the first sideline warning on Corbin, should have been no enforcement. If it was the second one, that 5 yard penalty would move the ball back to the previous line of scrimmage (since both teams have been penalized 15 yards). 
Should be 1st and 10 for Corbin at the original line of scrimmage after all the enforcements.
