It may very well turn out that way. But I think LCA has to be 3rd and Mayfield 4th due to their bodies of work.  LCA has 2 wins (CAL and Pikeville) that are better than any win on Mayfield's resume.  They also took 4A 3rd ranked Franklin County to the wire, and didn't get running clocked by Boyle County.

 Valid points, and I went with my heart there. IF mayfield is at home against LCA, assuming that plays out, I think mayfield has a punchers chance at war memorial. I still say Beechwood is the best team in 2A and they rack up another championship this year
