The 2024 Election is a Choice... Between Democracy and Fascism

"I’m 72 now. My children are 36, 34, and 31. My grandchildren are 5, 3, 2, and 2. I worry greatly about the world I am leaving them. Frankly speaking, I would probably do better economically under a Trump regime than I would Harris. But that is further down my priority list in this election.

I fear for what a Trump president precedent will set. I wonder about what kind of people I live amongst that see Trump for who he is and still vote for him saying they like his policies. I think his policies will be the least of our worries if he gets back in office. This country will be torn apart. He is a visibly and massively corrupt person.

In most elections, it’s been rare that I discernibly dislike one of the candidates (Nixon in 1972). It’s usually a 60-40, maybe 70-30 thing.  This time it’s a 100-0."

This friend is to the right of me, politically(pretty moderate, in fact) and fairly well to do .  I'd say slightly left of center in his politics, but pretty much a centrist on most issues.
Another imaginary OSH fried.  Big Grin Have you exchanged any more imaginary text messages with Hoot Gibson recently? (I did not stop reading your fabricated posts while I was on my self-imposed exile from this forum. You should relax and get yourself a nice, comfortable chair and try living in the real world for a change.)
