This was a complete game. Albeit an exhibition, and against a lesser opponent (but they did win 21 games last year and made the D2 Tournament), everything was just so fluid & free flowing. Instead of iso ball & dribbling the air out of the ball, it was great to see ball movement, making the extra pass to get a better wide-open shot, and they sure weren't shy about taking them.

This is a Pitino style offense on steroids. I know they're not going to make 21 3's every single game they play, but that's the one thing about Pope is he is going to get multiple guys involved. Defensively reminds a lot of Pitino teams also, active hands and ball pressure will be 2 key components.

I know it's just 1 game and doesn't count on the record books, but a lot to take away, obviously will be things to work on and shore up before the next game. But definitely a lot to be excited about for this season!
