I don't care what political beliefs celebrities have and support their First Amendment rights to express those beliefs in public. Where I draw the line is buying tickets to events like a Linda Ronstadt concert and then have the star of the show express disgust that people with my political beliefs bought a ticket to watch them perform. I walked out of a Jimmy Buffet concert during an mid-show intermission for that very reason. Fortunately, a coworker had given met tickets to the event, so I had not forked out any of my money for the event.

I stopped watching the Don Imus show years ago for similar reasons. Imus had some sort of dispute with one of his neighbors and used his platform to repeatedly bash the guy by name. If I tune into a show to be entertained, I don't want to watch the performer attack his non-celebrity neighbors on my time.
