Parents that want to coach their kids at every level, better hope they have a job for them one day. Its an epidemic. In no way are you preparing them for the real world at all.

I’ve heard the only dad that forced himself on the bench is one chasing kids away so his son will be the star. 5 kids have left and talk is that more are possibly leaving. Looks like Cooksey followed the boyd blueprint and is losing kids because of it

Let’s look at the 5 BC kids at Ashland.  Let’s start with the most recent and work back. The most recent is DS who was recruited by BL and JC at the country club speaking with his dad and brother.  This is a funny twist the entire junior class knows at BC. The Dad/brother of DS coached the middle school program that forced CC and CD to Ashland and ran off all but two players in that class due to crazy dad/brother. TL would never start at BC. His dad knew that as well as DS. RD was recruited by JM as we all know from the audio recording.  You try to cover all that up under your current recruiting issue with EN. BC and Russell have similarities. Ashland actively recruiting their developed talent with BB JS and DS EN currently and coaches who don’t bend their knee to money or politics. Ashland needs to clean house.  It’s another black eye on the community, school, and program. With addition to all their new crazy dads in combination of their current crazy dads that is a powder keg about to explode.

That was a hard read, are you saying Boyd has coaches that doesnt bend their knee to politics?

I don’t think BC coaches play money/politics.  If so, DS doesn’t leave even with JS demanding his son start this season and Ashland making promises to him during the recruitment. If that was the case I think they would have bent the knee so to speak. You seem as if you know different or is it a more blind bias you have. 

As far as dad’s coaching their son. I would agree with you for the vast majority of the time. That would be a hard yes. That would be on an individual basis. EN trying to force himself on a bench with zero coaching experience.  I would agree. You got to take that on an individual and experience basis. You can’t just blanketed say that. That is a reckless statement.

He has tried to force himself on the bench. What you’re calling a move is recruiting by an Ashland coach. It has been reported and video sent. The word is he will be in an ohio  school once he gets ruled ineligible by khsaa. He has lived in ohio while he was at Russell the entire time. He has not moved.

 Everyone pointing fingers but not looking at others. Russell had 6 kids move in under Cooksey. EN who apparently still lives in OH which is illegal, 1 kid who left mid season last year and now 5 others have left who have only been at Russell for less than 1-2 years. They can’t win so no one really cares about their recruiting. 
BC also got kids this season. JC from Ex Prep and the big middle schooler. So is Fairview the only innocent school

It’s not illegal to live in Ohio if you came in middle school and played through high school.  It only illegal when he tries to move now. He would have to live in the district he is playing in. Ashland has the SP kid who lives in Ohio right now as well. But he came before 9th grade. That is legal. If they are in middle school they can live anywhere. PH from Morgan should have moved due to this rule. Did he? Some say yes. Some say no. Everyone in Ashland knows DS did not. Parents still living in their same house. Never moved. He is using an address of his brother in Ashland. Which is illegal

but still no comment on how 5-6 kids came and left legal or illegal those kids were recruited and didn’t like what they seen or didn’t get what was promised
