1. Who would you have Republicans nominate? Don't say DeSantis, he clearly wasn't ready. He will be in 2028.
2. What is despicable about Trump. Lawfare is for fools, never really proved he broke any laws. Establishment politicians on both sides hating him tells me we need him.
3. I remember when you were supporting Hillary so that's tough to come back from.
4. Trump is for everything Dems are against and against everything they are for, which makes him my best friend.
5. EXCEPT SPENDING, which sadly no one can get elected advocating cutting spending. Trump is talking about making Elon his government fraud and waste guy, which is a good start.

Bashing Trump does no good, in fact praising Kamala is about the same thing.
Hold your nose if you have to, keep a stiff upper lip, and vote these evil turds out of office.

1. Donald Trump is the last Republican candidate I would have nominated. He was about the 10th of 12 candidates I would have nominated in 2016. He was unqualified in 2016 and he did a poor job in his four years as president. Trump is a poor judge of character and has proven that he has a difficult time working with people whom he hires himself.
2. Nonsense. Is the fact that a candidate for president cannot work with members of his party a reason to nominate him? That is the same silly talk that I heard in 2016.
3. Liar. I never supported Hillary. I considered casting a protest vote from a third-party candidate. I ended up voting for the lesser of two evils, only to avoid helping Hillary get elected.
4. I don't judge friends based solely on what they are against. Trump's sole major accomplishment was nominating Supreme Court justices who appeared to be solid conservatives. He failed to get any meaningful legislation passed, despite the fact that Republicans controlled both houses of Congress for his first two years in office. He squandered the political capital that he had when he was sworn into office. Despite criticizing Obama's use of executive orders, Trump resorted to signing executive orders because he could not work with members of his own party to get bills passed into law.
5. Trump makes great promises. He is terrible at keeping them. Musk would be a fool to accept a job in Trump's administration. I like and respect Musk and I believe that he is smart enough to know how disloyal and thin-skinned Trump is. Musk would be lucky to last a week in a Trump administration.

I am not bashing Trump. I am just reviewing his record for you. As I said, I will vote for Trump for the third time but damn the Republican Party and its members for nominating him again. Nobody should be forced to choose between two candidates so poorly suited for the presidency.

Based on your response, you seem to be among the more enthusiastic Trump supporters, and that is unfortunate, IMO.

Liar. You won't find any posts where I say anything remotely supporting Hillary Clinton for president and you know it. What you will find is plenty of dishonest posts where you and TRT claimed that anybody who didn't support Trump was a Hillary supporter.

I never said that I was not strongly opposed to Trump in 2016. I knew that Trump was a poorly qualified candidate and would not be an effective president and I was proven right. Because most of the good things that Trump did as president were done through executive actions, Biden wiped out most of his achievements with a pen and his own executive orders. An effective president makes lasting changes, not changes that evaporate as soon as he leaves office.

Here's the deal - I will stop calling you a liar when you stop lying. I have never supported Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, or any other Clinton family member. You know that to be a fact and yet you accused me of being a Hillary supporter anyway. I think that I characterized your actions accurately and succinctly.

If telling the truth about Trump is "trashing" him, then whose fault is that? If you want to contribute to Trump's campaign or knock on doors for him, then that is your right. I believe that voting for the man is as far as I am willing to go. I am certainly not going to support him by smearing people with lies and I am not going to be bullied into not criticizing Trump by the likes of you.
