I must have missed where Musk forced NC hurricane victims to buy Starlink equipment. Kamala's FEMA is not doing their job, so Musk offered to subsidize $120 of the cost of Starlink service. Just like a liberal to complain about an offer that does not involve gifting free stuff to victims.

As for taxpayers being "on the hook" for SpaceX. That is total nonsense. We were relying on the Russians to put American astronauts and satellites into orbit. Musk does not have his own mint. Of course, NASA paid SpaceX for providing a very valuable service because NASA has become another liberal social engineering experiment gone wrong.
