Why does Mercer only have 32 players?

Kids not want to play for this coach either?

I have heard some bad things about this coaching staff. It's all hear say but could really believe most of it. I was told Craig went to a middle school practice and made the comment ( you only have a bunch of slow white boys) if it's true he needs to go.

My response to this post was that it was incorrect that players didn't want to play for previous coach David Buchanan.  Buchanan consistently had 60-70 players when he was here and current coach now has 32 players.  I don't know the exact reason for the drastic drop in numbers of players playing from previous coach to current coach but you can probably come up with your own presumptions.   Current coach saying kids just don't want to play anymore and not having any accountability for low numbers is probably not the right way to go about it or fix it.
