Personally I think both trams have a lot to work and Pikeville is got a whole lot more than Raceland but in my honest opinion neither one is very good but 1A seems to went down hill even farther than I thought

No…I think you are seeing the end of the Covid years when schools had a bunch of older kids out there playing. This is what class A should look like and this is what it will look like unless you see a Beechwood or Mayfiled come back to class A

You definitely are losing it 2 years ago Pikeville had a good football team and it just wasn’t Birckfield but he was a big part of it plus the 2019 team would have beaten Beechnuts and Mayfield that year and the year before that Beechnuts beat Pikeville 21 to 20 and that may not have happened if Pikeville had not lost Hensley in the 3rd quarter and these 2 teams I seen on the field ton would have had a bad night against those teams now hopefully they get better as the year goes on but if not I predict a new 1A champion this year and plus Pikeville had 2 turnovers to night that Raceland took advantage of and that’s where they got their points but both teams are weak in a lot of positions but at this stage of the game Pikeville as bad as they are playing are better than Raceland and the proof is on the field tonight and I can’t see why either teams fans are proud of that display that was on that field tonight period

For me I was more proud of the Raceland kids for not rolling over and giving up after getting down 16-0.  Raceland came out and made plays to get themselves back in the game and I admired their fight.  

This is still a very young Raceland team and for me the determination to keep fighting against a team that had them on the ropes and not getting knocked out was what I was most proud of.

I like this group a lot. These kids are hungry and eager to be the next great Raceland team. As far as this game goes…it’s another game against Pikeville where we let them score from long distance. If we ever figure out how to not give up the big play then maybe we won’t have the pressure on us late in the game. Go all the way back to last December. You lose a championship game to a team that never gets the ball inside your 35 yard line. Then fast forward to this year. If we make a tackle on third down they are punting and it’s 0-0 at half. If we play with a safety there’s now halfback pass for a touchdown. But there are alot of buts in a football game. We got our points off of Pikeville turnovers…does that cancel out?? Idk but until we stop the big play we will always be playing behind. Make no mistake though… pikeville makes the big played with good athletes. 

The Rams need to keep this qb change and let the Weller kid grow. Ison needs to be on the filed as a slot or maybe at running back .
