The boro might be a 1-2 win team this year. Holy cross has played an elite 1A school and suprise team of the state in grant county for their two losses. I’m writing that one off as a loss for the jackets. I think they win 2 out of 3 against camp, harlan, and pineville. After that no wins on the schedule. Cancelling this game to injuries is a cop out… period. Shame on the town IMO. Unless they would be in a scenario where they show up with less than 15 players, you go play the damn game. Hell i’ve seen lynn camp show up in middlesboro with 12 and then 2 got injured, but guess what, they played the game.

First off they will beat Holy Cross, lynn camp, Pineville, Harlan city and Williamsburg possibly. Neither of them 4 including Williamsburg come out of our first 3 games with a win either. Second of all considering Pineville is canceling their game due to injuries also. Wouldn’t that be a red flag that maybe thats not the actual reason?

What evidence shows they will beat any team on the schedule except lynn camp. Holy cross has played a top 5 QB in the state, and a bunch that averages over 8 yards a carry as a team. Pinevilles opponents are 9-0 and 2 are much bigger schools. The only win for all three of the jackets opponents is the jackets. Williamsburg and Knox will be blow outs. I’m usually on the middlesboro side of things but this team is just not very good at football.
