I agree 100% and have always been curious about this as well. When I played in the early 2000’s we won a district championship one year and felt pretty good about it. We had to play a 2 seed NCC in the second round and they ran through us like it was nothing.

For as long as I can remember NCC was a program that was known as a state powerhouse and even now I forget that the name on their jersey doesn’t mean what it did in the past.
