I seem to remember they once flirted with being ranked in the Top 25 or so back in the early 2000s when they had that 47 game winning streak, but definitely never this high.

Never this high but the State Title is what matters and I believe they will stay focused the whole way.

What did the 2002 team get to before they lost? I was in high school at the time and I felt like I remembered them being around 10 or 11, but I've been known to misremember a lot from that period.

I'm not really sure. I'm not even sure if it was the 2002 team or one one of the other years right around then. But in my mind they maybe got just barely inside the Top 25. Like maybe actually number 25 and no higher.
