I just don't feel like I'm doing enough by buying some cheeseburgers for those without a home. I hate that the Communists in KY care more about the homeless than Republicans do. How much of a dent in the problem can I make in homelessness by going to their rally and harassing the Freemans across the street? I mean,  I'll do it but am I gonna put another roof over a mom and here three little ones?  Help me out here, people. Why is this such a problem if we are, in fact, the greatest country on earth? I know there are some good people who vote against their own self-interests and vote GOP but, let's face it, the elephants, in general,  look cruel and unusual when it comes to how they view homeless folk.

You aren't. You should take a cut in income and give the homeless access to all your property like you are expecting the Freemans to do. I'm sure you "care" a lot more than they do so what are you waiting for?

What are your feelings on what we can do to help the homeless situation?  I have been told by people looking for somewhere to rent that the waiting list for HUD is long , even when someone reach the top of the list , they are having trouble finding a rental. One of the reasons are people like the  Tiptons and Freemans are buying up all the rentals and then renting them at prices that are unaffordable for many. It is exacerbating an already bad problem. I appreciate guys like Hound who have tried to help the homeless. I think some are sympathetic to the plight of the homeless but others have made it clear that they have nothing but disdain for these poor people.  If Jesus did, in fact, exist, these are the kind of people that he, according to the Bible, had the most compassion for. What would Jesus do?
