What does East Ridge run on offense?

For the most part it’s a heavy package with 3 or 4 potential rushers in the backfield and 2 of them pretty much rotate taking snaps. There’s really no QB. The linemen’s splits are foot to foot to basically create log jam in hopes of getting enough push to keep the chains moving and the clock rolling. East Ridge started running this offense late last season and it kept them in some games, but eventually they wore down and the more talented teams pulled away late. With a playmaker like Isaiah Adkins it was tough to defend at times because he was a heckuva player with excellent speed and toughness, however ER doesn’t have that player this season. But they have some tough nosed gritty players that want to play physical football.

This isn’t the only formation they’ll use, but it’s been there most effective going back to 2022.
