I know scheduling is tough, but you gotta see what needs changed and what needs to be better at some point before those games happen. Playing four 1A schools and a 2A school as your non district opponents just seems like you’re reaching for wins instead of trying to compete.
The program needs wins just to keep players engaged in hopes of building something, but this level of competition is too low regardless. If they would change pineville and harlan to breathitt and shelby valley, imagine the different way we look at this schedule. Or just find any two teams you know you are 15-20 points better than to ensure a win, but still gives you good competition throughout the non-district

Williamsburg & Hazard are solid teams more often than not. Pineville plays Rockcastle next week, and I'm assuming no one knew they were going to have all the transfers and coaching changes. Harlan County is a 4a non district game. Leslie County might be better than clay county and is a rivalry game so no problem there. District is tough, even McCreary could beat a few teams. I don't really see the problem?? you only have 2 "guaranteed" wins on the schedule. Clay might finish .500
