I am sorry I started this.  Let me say again I think Duty is a great QB and will probably be one of the best QBs in the state and will probably lead his team to another state championship this season.  But based on the “statistics” that were presented on this thread his “statistics” over 2 seasons do not match up with the “statistics” that most of the other QBs had in one season last year.  That is why I am saying that he doesn’t belong on this list.  It’s not a list of QBs with most wins or QBs who will have better college careers it’s a list of top returning QBs based on their statistics from last season.

So I think we all agree he is a top returning QB for 2024. It's a no-brainer really. For one thing, QBs' record as a starter is absolutely a statistic that is looked at. Big factor for NFL when it's contract ($$$) time. Another statistic is QB rating. Not used in HS but excellent measure of how effective a QB is. Haven't crunched any numbers and not going to, but Duty's completion %, yards per attempt, TD passes to interception ratio etc. is right up there at the top. And the most important stat of all, he's led his team to 3 state championships in 3 years as starting QB.

No-brainer.
